Be impactful.

As a veterinary surgeon there is ample opportunity to volunteer at many organisations across Asia and China mainland.

Throughout his career in China mainland Dr Anthony has been very active in animal rescue: from setting up the neuter & critical care hospital at the  Beijing Human and Environmental Education Center, to supporting the Little Adoption shop (Beijing) and SCAA (Shanghai) and in 2016 being pivotal in enabling Jeff Beri Leave no dogs behind to rescue and set up shelters in southern China re-homing 112 dogs overseas.

Outside of China he has screened humans for malaria in Guyana, worked with Rhinos in Africa,  treated monkeys in Bolivia, and neutered dogs in Thailand.

Recently Asiavet has started to assist the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Jakarta and impacts daily through B1G1 .

For further information on how you can support the region's animals by volunteering your time please email Dr Anthony Beck  for a personal introduction to their clinical teams.

Please note that charities will expect you to pay for your own travel and living costs, and some will use paid placements as a charitable donation providing you with the rare chance to work with incredible animals.
